MEDA’s Clinical Services
MEDA offers a variety of clinical services to help you navigate the treatment process and receive supplementary support. MEDA’s clinicians specialize in eating disorder treatment and are dedicated to supporting you in your recovery process no matter what phase of recovery you are in.
Assessments are one hour appointments for individuals with concerns about their eating behaviors. You will meet with a Master’s level clinician or advanced graduate student. At the end of the session, an individualized plan will be discussed and, if needed, referrals for treatment options will be given based on your need, location, and insurance coverage. There is an $100 assessment fee. MEDA does not currently accept insurance. If this fee makes scheduling an assessment impossible, please contact MEDA. *MEDA has a 24 hour cancellation policy* For more details on MEDA’s assessment, click here and see Question 6.
Support Groups provide supplementary services to existing onhealthy avodart outpatient therapy. Group members must be in individual counseling and have an assessment with a MEDA clinician prior to joining a group. Assessments are $100. MEDA can provide referrals for individual counseling. Groups are $240 per 8-week group cycle, paid prior to the start of group. For information on specific groups with detailed information on time and days, click here!
Skills Sessions are a supplementary service designed to assist individuals who are working toward recovery with identifying and implementing specific action steps toward goals. Skills sessions are $40 per appointment, paid at the time of the appointment. For Skills Frequently Asked Questions, click here.
