Fiona is an experienced outreach professional and speaker/educator who has been working in the field of behavioral health since 2011. Fiona has worked as a counselor in a treatment program for adult women with eating disorders at the residential and PHP levels of care, as an outpatient case-manager, recovery coach, and treatment placement specialist for those with a myriad of behavioral health needs, as a clinical outreach specialist and marketing director for programs related to the treatment of eating disorders, substance use, and trauma. She is currently the Director of Business Development and Communications at Galen Hope.
Fiona received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Health Studies at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She has completed graduate level course work in Health Communications through a dual program at Emerson College and Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, MA, and in Health Education at Plymouth State University in NH. She has spent the last decade immersing herself in continuing education related to the treatment of eating disorders and co-occurring diagnoses through a social justice lens and has presented in a variety of settings on the topics of affirming care, the intersection of eating disorders and substance use disorders, the intersection of eating disorders and ADHD, and on dismantling diet culture.
