Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, MD, is a world-leading expert on mental health and eating disorder treatment who has founded several highly regarded treatment centers, including Galen Hope in Coral Gables, Florida. A board-certified psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience, she is known for her innovative, humane, and dignity-enhancing approach to care. Her unique treatment approach delves into the underlying issues that contribute to the development of mental health conditions. Dr. Oliver-Pyatt received her specialty training at New York University- Bellevue Hospital. She has held faculty positions at New York University, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and University of Nevada School of Medicine. She is a fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).
