Healing the Parts That Activate: A Somatic Path to Eating Disorder Recovery

Introduction: When working with clients who struggle with eating disorders, we often meet protective inner parts—voices that shame, criticize, or control food and body image. These parts are deep protectors covering the pain and fear that drive cycles of negative eating behaviors.

In this hour-long training, you’ll be introduced to a gentle somatic release practice that helps clients connect with these parts, release the body-level tension they hold, and relax into an inner wellspring of ease that brings stabilization. This approach, blending inner parts work with mindful somatic awareness, offers a new way to help clients feel safer, more regulated, and compassionate as they journey toward wellness.

You’ll walk away with:

  1. A deeper understanding of how inner parts drive eating disorder behaviors.
  2. An experiential practice you can try yourself that shows its potential..
  3. An understanding of how you can empower your clients toward deeper healing.

This training is practical and experiential, offering a new way to meet clients where they are—and help them gently move toward wholeness.
