Our Performers
LEAHY ARDON
Leahy Ardon is an Israeli-American multi-disciplinary artist and educator.
As a musician, Leahy has played with and performed for artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Melissa Ferrick, and Lucinda Williams. Her recent album, Out on the Water, was released in 2023 and is available on all streaming platforms.
Leahy has also written and directed several plays for children and adults. Most notably she performed her one-woman-play, Conflict Zone – a dramedy about eating disorder recovery, in a variety of venues from Los Angeles to Massachusetts (including a special performance at MEDA!), winning multiple awards.
Leahy recovered from an eating disorder after attending treatment in Boston, and is deeply grateful for the clinicians that took care of her, and the strong bonds she has formed with peers in treatment. Having experienced firsthand the tremendously difficult journey of recovery, she is grateful to take part in this event honoring the incredible work of MEDA – saving and bettering so many people’s lives.

KATE YEAGER
Furthering the lineage of artists like Carol King, Tracey Chapman, and Janis Joplin, Kate Yeager’s lyrics and soul-infused vocals transcend stats, trends and ages. She is the next great female troubadour: energetic, bold, and leading with love. At the intersection of a smokey Lower Manhattan jazz club and a summer camp celebration, the Nashville-based singer-songwriter channels her superpower for empathy and warmth of spirit to create an uncanny connection with her listeners with music ranging from sadness to joy – at times intense and strong and, at others, soothing and breathtakingly refreshing.

NIU RAZA
Malagasy award winner and Boston based singer-songwriter Niu Raza is known for her unique sound, the perfect blend between her traditional heritage and modern music. She has been using her craft as a catalyst for change whether through women empowerment on social media, teaching and helping the next generation of musicians or advocating for children’s rights with nonprofit organizations like Unicef Madagascar. Self-made, she is a music powerhouse by herself. An independent musician, who chose to create her own path, build her own music business journey and has worked with labels like Sony Music and several Grammy nominated and winners like the multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier, the bass player Victor Wooten, Beyonce’s touring Saxophonist Tia Fuller or the producer Javier Limon. Entrepreneur, she is also an influencer that has worked with several brands within the skincare and fashion industry. A musician beyond sound, beyond expectations.
