MEDA understands that eating disorders affect everyone, not just the individual who is struggling. It is important that all family members, partners, and friends receive support so they can remain hopeful and supportive for their loved one.
One-on-one, individualized sessions designed for family members, partners, and friends of an individual with an eating disorder. Clinicians provide targeted education about eating disorders based on the client’s needs, options for care, referrals for treatment, guidance based on the specific case, and how best to utilize available services. Coaching sessions have a $100 fee and can be scheduled at your convenience.
Offered for parents, family members, partners and friends of an individual with an eating disorder. There are groups in Newton (at MEDA) and Gardner, MA.
