Colton is a graduate student at the Boston College School of Social work. He will receive his MSW in May of 2024. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Macalester College. Prior to joining MEDA he worked at a community mental health center providing individual and group therapy for children and adolescents. Colton brings a trauma-informed, strength-based, and person-centered approach to his work. As a social worker, Colton is committed to social justice at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
His background in sports is what led him to work in the field of eating disorders. Colton used to be a competitive figure skater and is familiar with the intersection of sports and mental health. Colton also has a background in coaching and sports-based therapy. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and rock climbing. He is looking forward to adopting a cat soon.
