Darcy earned a bachelor’s degree in Ecological Communication from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay, and worked as a exhibit/graphic designer for several years before pursuing a career in mental health. Soon after graduating from Marylhurst University with a master’s degree in Art Therapy in 1994, she started working in a tribal Community Mental Health outpatient clinic, followed by day treatment/CBAT and wraparound team experiences. As an Art Therapist and LMHC, Darcy facilitates emotional healing through creatively engaging clients of any age in schools, outpatient and group practice in recent years. She has worked with diverse clients who present with eating disorders/disordered eating, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and ADHD. Darcy is excited to be part of the MEDA community as it embodies many of her personal and professional values as a clinician with lived experience.
