Darcy Brandt LICSW

Darcy earned her BA in Sociology from Union College and her MSW from Boston College. She completed her clinical training at the Klarman Eating Disorder Center at McLean Hospital in 2017 and remained there as a full-time clinician, providing individual and family therapy as well as clinical supervision, until transitioning to full-time private practice in 2022. Darcy also completed advanced psychotherapy training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and integrates a psychoanalytic perspective into her work with eating disorders and related concerns. In her practice, she works with older adolescents, college students, and adults, listening carefully for the underlying dynamics that contribute to symptoms or persistent patterns that limit quality of life. She approaches treatment with thoughtfulness and candor, with the goal of reducing distress and fostering greater satisfaction and freedom. In addition to ongoing individual psychotherapy, she provides consultation and parent/family treatment for those affected by eating disorders, offering in-person sessions in Westport, CT, and Telehealth to patients in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
