Hi! I’m so glad you are reaching out to get support. I believe in full recovery and it would be an honor to talk with you about how I might help your journey.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving individuals in Massachusetts and North Carolina (teletherapy only). I have worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, private practice, inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings. I am an intersectional feminist and am actively engaged in the Health at Every Size®, Size Acceptance, and Body Liberation movements. The lenses I utilize in therapy are anti-oppression, relational cultural, and a deep belief in the body wisdom each person holds. Modalities I utilize flexibly and interchangeably include relational, person centered, attachment informed, somatic, trauma informed, CBT, DBT, and ACT. I have completed Level 1 of the Embodied Recovery Training, a trauma-informed, relationally oriented, and somatically integrative approach to the treatment of eating disorders that draws from the latest research in traumatology, interpersonal neurobiology, and child development.
I am a huge animal lover and enjoy walking, yoga, the beach, the woods, The Office, ice cream, and the author Alice Hoffman, amongst other things!
