About the Provider
AE Rueppel is a Boston-based mother of 3 who awoke ten years ago to find that one of her daughters had been “stolen in the middle of the night” by the insidious and debilitating disease of anorexia nervosa. A positive experience with Family Based Treatment allowed the healthy return and full recovery of her daughter, providing proof that recovery is possible.
Guided by her deep compassion for parents, caregivers and families going through the experience of caring for loved ones with an ED, AE has spent the last eight years building eating disorders knowledge and connections within the community, and completed her Masters in Health Education and Promotion with a concentration in Eating Disorders.
Using her lived experience and a deep belief that parents and caregivers are valued treatment team members and experts on their own loved ones, AE’s work focuses on being a resource and advocate for parents and caregivers navigating the ED road to recovery.

About the Provider
Accepting new clients! Offering therapy services in Massachusetts (telehealth) and Florida.
“Sapientia” (sap-pen-tcha) is Latin for wisdom. My practice is built on the belief that everyone already has within them the resources to heal, grow, and thrive. Simply put, I use evidence-based interventions – primarily a therapy called Internal Family Systems (IFS) – to help people tap into that innate wisdom. With my support, clients heal themselves.
Reach out via email or phone to take the first step, or schedule a free 15 minute consult call through my website. I look forward to working with you!

About the Provider
I am a licensed psychologist who earned my Doctorate in Psychology from National Louis University. Throughout my training, I had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including private practices, college counseling centers, community mental health, and academic medical centers.
I have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, self-injurious behaviors, life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, and body image concerns. I specialize in the delivery of evidence-based interventions to treat eating disorders among children, adolescents, and young adults. I completed an eating disorder-focused fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital treating children and adolescents within the inpatient and outpatient settings. Treatment modalities I utilize to treat eating disorders include Family Based Treatment (FBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (CBT-AR), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Additionally, I am a Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) certified therapist, which is intended for clients with treatment-resistant anxiety and depression, anorexia nervosa, and individuals who exhibit intense needs for control over their daily lives. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and other Anxiety Disorders.
In addition to therapy services, I am an adjunct professor at National Louis University’s Florida School of Professional Psychology in Tampa, FL. Furthermore, I am actively engaged in research to address weight bias and inequalities in eating disorder care. I have presented at local and national conferences to bring awareness to eating disorders and to address ethical issues in eating disorder treatment.
My approach to therapy includes building a strong therapeutic alliance, encouraging open emotional expression, and empowering clients and their families to maximize their full potential. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment to foster growth and healing. I am a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and the Society for Pediatric Psychology.

About the Provider
I work with adolescents and adults who present various problems and concerns, such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, and life transitions. I believe in the power of early interventions to help teens develop healthy boundaries and coping skills, and to build healthier, happier relationships with themselves and others. I also believe we are all born with emotions and feelings, and we just didn’t get taught how to manage and express them.
My approach to counseling is rooted in humanistic, person-centered principles. I forge authentic relationships with my clients, offering acceptance, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. I tailor and implement evidence-based interventions that align with my client’s interests and needs, using CBT, DBT, and EMDR approaches.

About the Provider
We provide thoughtful, individualized nutrition care that honors both eating disorder recovery and the complexity of the human body.
Our approach to eating disorder care is truly personalized, holistic, and led with compassion. We recognize that no two people — or two recovery paths — are the same. Rather than using rigid rules or one-size-fits-all meal plans, we work collaboratively to understand your biology, your lived experience, your stressors, your values, and your goals.
Traditional treatment models can sometimes feel structured in ways that overlook individuality. While structure can be helpful, healing also requires flexibility, nuance, and respect for autonomy. We balance evidence-based care with real-life practicality — supporting recovery in a way that feels supportive, sustainable, and aligned with your life.
We look beyond food behaviors alone and explore the full picture: medical history, digestion, hormones, nervous system regulation, sensory needs, routines, thought patterns, and environmental factors. This allows us to address root contributors — not just symptoms.
All clinicians provide trauma-informed, gender-affirming, & weight-inclusive care.

About the Provider
Darcy earned her BA in Sociology from Union College and her MSW from Boston College. She completed her clinical training at the Klarman Eating Disorder Center at McLean Hospital in 2017 and remained there as a full-time clinician, providing individual and family therapy as well as clinical supervision, until transitioning to full-time private practice in 2022. Darcy also completed advanced psychotherapy training at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and integrates a psychoanalytic perspective into her work with eating disorders and related concerns. In her practice, she works with older adolescents, college students, and adults, listening carefully for the underlying dynamics that contribute to symptoms or persistent patterns that limit quality of life. She approaches treatment with thoughtfulness and candor, with the goal of reducing distress and fostering greater satisfaction and freedom. In addition to ongoing individual psychotherapy, she provides consultation and parent/family treatment for those affected by eating disorders, offering in-person sessions in Westport, CT, and Telehealth to patients in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

About the Provider
Behavior change requires time, effort, and resources. To have all of these things requires immense privilege. Our culture and healthcare systems create barriers to impede treatment and neglect care for individuals who are stigmatized due to the size of their bodies. Healing and true rapport are pillars to develop safe and vulnerable relationships with providers. You deserve an environment free of judgment and shame. We are committed to your understanding that what you are struggling with is not your fault.
At Mend Therapy we serve people of all sizes and shapes, abilities, races, representations, and orientations. You are the expert of yourself. As your provider, we want to be your teammate, helping you create space for yourself to meet your wants and needs of self care.
Our approach is rooted in individualized, size-affirming care with you at the core. The credentials at the end of our names represent our education and training as experts in nutrition and physical therapy. As providers, our priority is to guide you to become the true expert of yourself. This does include rigid rules and unrealistic expectations. You’re behind the wheel and we’ll be the passenger pilot – there to offer you guidance, not make the decision – at Mend Therapy you determine what health means for you.

About the Provider
“From Unspoken Pain to Empowered Healing: Breaking the Silence on Unaddressed Grief” – Anita Gupta”
People tend to suffer in silence with Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders and Grief over loss for far too long. Reaching out for help takes courage. I have 30 years experience working as a Clinical Instructor – Harvard Medical School, Associate Clinical Psychologist – Massachusetts General Hospital and treating patients in my private practice in Boston’s Back Bay. In 2022 I moved my private practice to Newton Highlands. My mission is to
help people fulfill their life dreams personally, professionally and relationally. My patients and I work collaboratively to explore the roots of their pain / symptoms and discover new strategies to better deal with complicated problems. I am an interactive and relational therapist. I offer Individual, Couples, Group Therapy & Grief Counseling.
Coping with the death of a loved one can feel intolerable. You believe no one can really understand YOUR pain. You are right. But, you are also not alone. I lost my 16 yo son 3 years ago. Faith, an unflappable support system and therapy saved my life. I am ready to help others on their journey to living a fulfilling, love-filled life along side of the grief.
Life transitions can be complicated and difficult. Whether the transition is to a change in relationship status, new city, new job, or new school, it is helpful to have a safe, private space to process overwhelming emotions that invariably arise. I see patients over zoom as well as face to face indoors as well as in an Outdoor Covid Compliant Office space.
I am certified in Animal Assisted Therapy. “Henry Freud” is a calm, gentle, affectionate Black Lab who is eager to be part of your healing process. He is happy to offer therapeutic comfort: snuggles, kisses, floor play, secured privacy and/or bring you tissues. Henry’s greatest gift is the ability to make everyone feel special and loved in a unique way.
Finally, I am an out-of-network provider. Patients pay me at the time of the visit. I am happy to help patients get reimbursed from their insurance companies by submitting receipts electronically to BCBS and providing Superbills at the beginning of each month for the previous month’s sessions.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Eating Disorder Institute certificate from Plymouth State University. Before joining Women’s Counseling of Nashua, I provided counseling to diverse populations in a queer-celebratory group practice. Prior to entering the clinical field, I earned my degree in Music Education and worked in both public and private schools. In my spare time, I recharge with music, crochet, archery, reading, and spending time with my dog.

About the Provider
I specialize in eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, OSFED), self-esteem challenges, anxiety disorders, depression, and self-harming behaviors in young adults (18+) and adults. In our work together, I will utilize evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). I am also trained in EMDR. My approach is strengths-based and person-centered, with the belief that therapy is not “one size fits all.” We will work as a team to figure out what is most supportive and effective for you. I take a collaborative approach and enjoy staying connected with other members of your treatment team in order to ensure your success.

About the Provider
I find tremendous reward in the process of collaborating with my clients and helping them find a more ease with eating and confidence in their bodies. My nutrition counseling style is warm, creative and compassionate. In our work together, you can expect a non-judgmental space, invitations to unpack harmful diet culture myths, and tailored guidance focused on cultivating behaviors that promote genuine well-being and better quality of life around food and body.
It’s a brave step to reach out for help. If you’d like to discuss the possibility of working together, I’d be happy to talk more. I also have a phenomenal team of associates that work out of my practice (LK Nutrition) who may be able to help if I’m not able to accommodate you myself.

About the Provider
Hello! I’m Marissa, a self-proclaimed foodie and plant lover. I’ve always been passionate about cooking, eating, and growing food! I’m fascinated by the unique relationship each of us has with food. My mantra is that food is meant to be enjoyed—it represents culture, traditions, creates lasting memories, and, of course, can be super delicious!
My approach is rooted in Health at Every Size® (HAES), Intuitive Eating, weight-neutral, and non-diet nutrition. I strive to create a safe space where you can heal and strengthen your relationship with both food and your body, all while challenging the harmful norms of diet culture. I believe all bodies are good bodies, deserving of equal and respectful care. You already possess the inner wisdom, strength, and ability to grow and heal. I’m here to support you with compassion, acceptance, and kindness, providing the tools and education to guide your journey. As a neurodivergent clinician, I also deeply understand how neurodivergence can shape your healing process.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons University in Boston, MA. I also completed a 1200-hour dietetic internship specializing in eating disorders. I’m dedicated to helping individuals struggling with:
Eating disorders
Disordered eating behaviors
“Food noise” and chaotic/distressing eating behaviors
Chronic dieting (Yo-Yo dieting)
Body image concerns
In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy and sci-fi, gardening, crocheting, and exploring seasonal finds at Trader Joe’s. Fall is my favorite season for the breathtaking New England foliage, hiking, and, of course, the Trader Joe’s butternut squash mac & cheese!

About the Provider
I work with high-achieving millennial gay men ready to release anxiety, body shame, and their complicated relationship with food. The men I see often look driven and put together on the outside, but inside they’re anxious, self-critical, and feel like they’ll never measure up.
If you’ve spent time in gay spaces, you already know how much emphasis gets put on how you look. Bodies are currency. Most of us just absorb that over time, until it stops feeling like outside pressure and starts feeling like how things actually are – shaping how you see yourself and what you think you deserve.
In therapy, we get curious about the parts of you that have been working overtime – managing food, exercise, and how you look – and explore what they’re really protecting you from. The goal is simple: getting your headspace back and feeling like yourself – in your body, in your relationships, in your own community.

About the Provider
Natalie Stine is the owner and lead dietitian of the practice Luna Nutrition Therapy. Luna Nutrition Therapy is a neurodivergent-affirming, weight-inclusive nutrition therapy practice offering virtual care to clients across the lifespan. Our team specializes in supporting individuals who have been impacted by diet culture, disordered eating, eating disorders (including ARFID), chronic health conditions, sports nutrition concerns, and food- and body-related distress.
Our approach is grounded in Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES), centering body trust, autonomy, and lived experience rather than weight-centric or prescriptive models of care. We recognize that navigating food, movement, and health can feel overwhelming in a world full of conflicting messages and neuronormative expectations—and we believe the problem is not the individual, but the systems surrounding them.
Luna Nutrition Therapy provides compassionate, collaborative care for children, teens, young adults, adults, and older adults. We work closely with parents and caregivers, athletes, college students, neurodivergent individuals, and those stepping down from higher levels of care. Our clinicians value relational work and meet clients where they are, honoring their identities, needs, and goals without shame or pressure.
As a fully virtual practice, Luna Nutrition Therapy prioritizes accessibility and flexibility while maintaining high-quality, evidence-based care. We also value collaboration with therapists, medical providers, and care teams to support holistic, client-centered healing.
If you’re seeking nutrition care that is affirming, thoughtful, and rooted in respect for the whole person, Luna Nutrition Therapy offers a supportive space to explore healing, growth, and nourishment—on your terms.

About the Provider
I am a registered dietitian and personal trainer specializing in sports nutrition as well as eating disorders and diabetes care. I use my diverse background in nutrition, exercise, and mental health to help clients support their well-being while striving to reach their health and performance goals.
“How” we work together depends on the person and circumstance. For some, the work is focused on gaining knowledge and applying behaviors. For others, it may also involve exploring the impact of thoughts, beliefs, and relationships that impact how we navigate food and movement.
While the work we do can be serious, I enjoy bringing moments of energy and levity to the journey. The goal is to help people develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate food and movement in alignment with their values.

About the Provider
The PEAAC is a holistic, HAES-aligned sports medicine and eating disorder clinic that believes in keeping each patient’s human-ness at the forefront: We are all people first and deserve to be treated as such. We believe in fostering reconnections between the mind, body, and soul and working to understand the root of life dissatisfaction for which the eating disorder has thus far been the necessary coping mechanism.
I am a recovered anorexic who does not make a distinction between “atypical” anorexia and anorexia. All weights at my clinic are truly blind, as we use the numberless Myclearstep scale, where the number only discoverable on my secure provider portal; I also do not enter the weight into the medical record unless required for electronic prescribing.

About the Provider
Sarah Butler, MS, RDN (she/they) is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who believes everyone deserves a whole life beyond the struggles of an eating disorder or disordered eating, and is passionate about helping others to heal their relationship with food and their body.
Sarah understands that there are many factors that can influence the way one thinks and feels about, as well as interacts with food and their body. That is why they use a person-centered approach, getting to know each individual client, and forming a genuine connection that helps them to understand how to best support their client.
Sarah’s approach combines their knowledge of nutrition and health promotion with their client’s own inner wisdom. She knows each human was born with wisdom to guide how they nurture their body, and understands that this can get wonky due to the influence of factors, such as diet culture, food insecurity, and health conditions.
Sarah’s anti-diet, Health At Every Size (HAES) approach incorporates aspects of intuitive eating and mindfulness, and is designed to help individuals cultivate trust in themselves with self-care, and nourish the mind and body with nutrition, all while enjoying the food that helps us enjoy life.
Sarah proudly identifies as a queer, non-binary individual, and is passionate about working with individuals of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as thoughtful about the intersectionality between this community, eating disorders and body image concerns.
Sarah received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Health Promotion from Simmons University, Boston. While completing her Master’s degree, she was able to focus on Nutrition Therapy for Eating Disorders, which only solidified her interest in working with individuals with eating disorders. Sarah then returned to Simmons University to complete a dietetic internship with a specialized eating disorder focus, one of the few programs like it in the country. Through the internship, they gained experience working with individuals at various levels of eating disorder care, including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient care. After ending their internship rotation at Whole Life Nutrition, Anna invited Sarah to join the team, where they now continue the work they feel so passionate about.

About the Provider
Accepting NEW Clients! In-person appointments on Tuesdays! I help clients step away from the constant dieting and build a more compassionate, inclusive relationship with food and their bodies. No “good” or “bad” foods—just reconnecting with your body and building self-trust.
I also support clients who are dealing with anxiety. I focus on helping you feel more at peace, build confidence in voicing your needs, and take steps toward self-empowerment. Together, we work on setting boundaries, practicing radical acceptance, and finding strategies to reduce stress and feel more in control of your life.
For those looking for an alternative to traditional talk therapy, I’m trained in EMDR. It’s a structured approach that can help you process distressing experiences, reduce anxiety, and see results more quickly. Let me know if this is something you’re interested in—it’s not something we have to use, but it’s an option if it feels like a good fit for you.
In my free time, I enjoy watching true crime documentaries, reading, yoga, exploring a new nature trail, and of course spending time with my daughter, husband, dog (Mabel), & cat (Chandler)!

About the Provider
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Lead Psychotherapist at Make Space Counseling & Consulting, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, OCD and/or eating disorders. I particularly enjoy supporting young people as they grapple through the transition to adulthood and the related issues that arise including identity, relationship conflict, and relational trauma.
I believe that my clients are experts in their own experiences, and I feel privileged to be allowed into their lives. I strive to create a warm, safe and non-judgmental space for my clients, in which I bring curiosity and compassion to every session. I empower my clients to identify their own goals and collaborate with them to help develop individualized action-oriented treatment plans to improve the quality of their lives. I identify as an ally to the BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disability communities and value working across the spectrums of gender, race, sexuality, and class.
Prior to starting Make Space Counseling, I worked with Nourished Minds as a staff psychotherapist, and worked inpatient at McLean where I worked with clients in acute crises, across a wide range of life stages, diagnoses and identities. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Boston College in 2020, and graduated as a Fellow at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy in 2023. I utilize a relational approach to therapy and integrate elements of IFS, ERP, ACT and DBT into my work, as needed. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers, where I engage in ongoing professional development.
My clinical experiences have been enriched by living and working in several different countries. Prior to focusing on psychotherapy, I helped develop social impact small businesses in Kigali, Rwanda, and was involved in starting a non-profit organization in Nairobi, Kenya, funding female education.

About the Provider
I provide individual therapy for adults (18+) struggling with eating disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, complex trauma and personality disorders. I also work with people wanting to address body image concerns, life transitions, immigration/acculturation and relationship issues. I’m interested in the exploration of co-occurring psychological presentations. People usually can experience issues with body image and eating disorders while experiencing trauma symptoms, depression or anxiety. In my work with my clients I help them to address and pay attention to their behaviors and the thoughts and feelings that are contributing to the development of their symptoms. I help my clients to gain more awareness and gain agency to manage their feelings in order to achieve their goals.
I offer in person and virtual therapy sessions for clients residing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Virtual sessions will be conducted via a HIPAA compliant, secure software platform.
I also run Virtual DBT groups during the fall and spring. Check my website for more information.
