About the Provider
I am a nutrition and body image therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP)™ as well as a certified eating disorders specialist and clinical supervisor (CEDS) with nearly 30 years of experience in the field. I’m the author of two award-winning books: Nourish: How to Heal Your Relationship with Food, Body, and Self and Nurture: How to Raise Kids Who Love Food, Their Bodies, and Themselves. My training includes nutrition science, psychology, Somatic Experiencing (SE)™, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based and insight-oriented meditation, and elements of yoga therapeutics, dance, and authentic/improvisational movement. I take a holistic view of my clients, students, and supervisees — working both individually or in groups. I’m also honored to co-facilitate a group for professionals in the eating disorders field who are in recovery or have recovery histories.

About the Provider
My name is Rachael Utstein and I am a Registered Dietitian licensed in Massachusetts & Connecticut. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image. I believe that people of all body sizes and identities deserve a peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. I help my clients ditch diets & diet culture and support them in finding ways to nourish themselves, both physically & mentally, that actually feel good. I utilize a non-diet & weight inclusive approach to nutrition. This approach rejects restriction of any kind and promotes the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size. My counseling style is client-led, compassionate, non-judgmental, and realistic.
