About the Provider
Accepting New Clients! Sierra is a licensed mental health counselor, specializing in eating disorders with a focus on Binge Eating Disorder, body image, anxiety, life changes, relationships & intimacy, as well as self-esteem work and trauma. She works with her client’s interdisciplinary team such as prescribers, medical doctors, and dietitians for comprehensive care. Sierra is committed to the principles of Health At Every Size (HAES) and believes that every body is worthy of respect and care, regardless of its shape or size. She utilizes concepts from intuitive eating and her background in dance to help her clients develop a better relationship with their bodies, food, and movement. She works collaboratively with them to achieve their goals.
Sierra is dedicated to building strong, positive relationships with her clients, and believes that building rapport is key to supporting them in their journey towards healing. She has a warm and empathetic approach that puts her clients at ease, and is skilled at communicating with them in a way that fosters trust and understanding. Sierra believes that therapy is a collaborative process, and is committed to providing exceptional care and support to her clients as they work towards their goals.
Sierra is currently enrolled in EMDR Basic Training through Center For Excellence in EMDR.
In her free time, she enjoys watching true crime documentaries, reading, yoga, exploring a new nature trail, and cuddling with her pets, Chandler and Mabel.
