I’m a Boston-based, New York-raised intuitive eating, weight-inclusive, and functional nutrition dietitian. I offer virtual 1:1 nutrition counseling to guide you through finding a more calm and comfortable relationship with food. I specialize in overcoming disordered eating, supporting eating disorder recovery, as well as finding the root of complex gastrointestinal issues. I practice healing from a whole body, holistic approach, including sleep, stress, movement, and more. This might include extra lab work and testing if that’s something you are interested in!

Food is personal, whether you have an eating disorder or not. I strive to be a safe space for my clients to explore and rebuild their relationship with food, as well as develop a deeper understanding and respect for their bodies. I’m very science-guided, compassionate, and direct. My ultimate goal is to help clients figure out how to make food less stressful, less time-consuming, less rigid – and ultimately, be supportive of overall health. When working with young clients (10-14), I focus on how food operates within the entire family unit and prefer to work closely with parents.

Amy has worked at all levels of eating disorder of eating disorder treatment care. As lead nutritionist at the Klarman Eating Disorder Program she worked with adolescents in a both residential and partial care settings. Through her work at Klarman and several other programs at McLean Hospital, Amy developed a deep understanding of eating disorders and other complex psychiatric illnesses.nnIn addition to her nutrition and yoga training, Amy has a solid background in psychology. She incorporates mindfulness, breath awareness and meditation into her work drawing from her extensive training which includes the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness (MB-EAT) through UMASS Medical Center. Amy also brings sensory integration awareness to her work. She’s certifies in the Sensory Motor Arousal Response Treatment (SMART) method for working with children with trauma.nnAmy has led numerous school programs ranging in audience from preschool through college. She speaks regularly at professional conferences. Amy is a member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH), the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics (AND), Multi-service Eating Disorder Association (MEDA), International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

Dr. Andrea Kulberg is a licensed psychologist with 25 years of experience in the treatment of disordered eating and anxiety, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Dr. Kulberg’s team of dietitians and therapists at Anxiety Experts specializes in treating all types of eating disorders, as well as anxiety, panic, social phobia, school refusal, OCD, PTSD and BDD. These problems rob one’s sense of freedom, confidence and self-worth. The Anxiety Experts team treats these issues with a type of CBT called Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Medical Nutrition Therapy from a Registered Dietician as appropriate. Virtual therapy has been proven to be just as successful as in-person therapy for helping people master their fears and stop the avoidance behaviors and compulsions which worsen anxiety. Dr Kulberg has been trained through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) in the use of Exposure with Response Prevention, the #1 treatment for anxiety. Anxiety Experts team members are also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and have been featured speakers at national conferences such as the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF).

Angela Veri Babuschak, MA, RDN, LDN is a Registered/Licensed Dietitian and Nutrition Therapist who aims to offer a comfortable, supportive and non-judgmental environment whether tele-health or in-person as she guides her clients on their nutritional healing journey.

Her non-diet focused practice is based on the Intuitive Eating principles, mindful practices and a Health at Every Size (HAES®) philosophy. Angela’s specialties include working with those age 15+ who suffer with disordered eating behaviors, diagnosed eating disorders or feeding issues. Angela meets each client where they are physically, mentally and emotionally using evidenced based research as well as lived experience to support each individual on their recovery and nutritional healing path.

Angela Veri Babuschak graduated from Immaculata College, outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with both her BS in Nutrition and MA in Nutrition Education. She completed her didactic internship at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, PA and obtained the Intuitive Eating Counselor certification under the tutelage of Evelyn Tribole, MS, RDN, CEDRD-S and Elyse Resch, MS, RDN, CEDRD-S, FAND. As a trauma informed nutrition therapist, she is trained in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic nutrition coaching. As a certified yin yoga instructor and meditation practitioner, Angela may incorporate these modalities into sessions if/when appropriate.

I have worked with adolescents and adults at higher levels of care and outpatient for over 10 years. I strive to balance lived experience with evidenced based practiced to provide individualized effective care. Christine Laker is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and her approach to nutrition counseling is centered around a weight-neutral, Health at Every Size (HAES™) perspective.

She devotes her practice to fostering a guilt free relationship with food, body, and movement. Christine specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, and intuitive eating with clients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.

In addition to her time at Marci RD Nutrition, Christine works with clients struggling with eating disorders and other coexisting conditions at higher levels of care. This allows her to have a unique and relatable perspective when working with those who have experienced treatment in higher levels of care.

I’m the author of two award-winning books: Nourish: How to Heal Your Relationship with Food, Body, and Self and Nurture: How to Raise Kids Who Love Food, Their Bodies, and Themselves. My training includes nutrition science, psychology, Somatic Experiencing (SE)™, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based and insight-oriented meditation, and elements of yoga therapeutics, dance, and authentic/improvisational movement. I take a holistic view of my clients, students, and supervisees — working both individually or in groups. Hope Hayes, MEd, RDN, LD, CEDS-S (she/her/hers) is an anti-diet dietitian and dedicated to guiding her clients to understanding the truths of diet culture and helping them reconnect their body and mind. Her approach is gentle and compassionate. While using an anti-diet and Health at Every Size approach, Hope works to reduce weight stigma, educate about disordered eating, and help people end their weight obsession. She treats through a trauma informed lens to support clients with trauma and eating disorders.

I run a group practice with providers specializing in eating disorders, behavioral health, diabetes, and gut health. Our team of experienced and compassionate providers operate in a trauma-informed framework. Jean specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating and teaches body liberation from an Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size (HAES®) framework. As a trauma-informed provider, Jean works from the lens of deconstructing systems of oppression and generational trauma that may inform perspectives about food and body. Jean is passionate about body justice advocacy, especially in BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities as a queer 2nd generation Taiwanese American female with immigrant parents. As a former athlete, Jean also enjoys working with clients who want to heal their relationship with movement.

Jean graduated with a BS in Clinical Nutrition and BA in Communications from the University of California, Davis, and a MS in Nutrition and Health Promotion and Certificate in Sports Nutrition from Simmons University. Her field experience was also completed at Simmons University in their dietetic internship program with the Treatment of Eating Disorders Concentration, one of the only comprehensive programs in the nation that provides formal training in the treatment of eating disorders. In a prior role as a diet technician, Jean worked at an eating disorder treatment center and provided meal support for patients at the residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care.

When Jean is not seeing clients, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, practicing the flute, doing yoga, and playing video games like Pokemon.

Jessi Haggerty is a Registered Dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Certified Personal Trainer. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Boston University and completed her Dietetic Internship at Oregon Health and Science University. Jessi is a Health at Every Size® practitioner, focusing on intuitive eating and movement, eating disorder recovery and weight inclusive medical nutrition therapy. In addition to running the practice, Jessi is the host of the BodyLove Project podcast and runs an online course for personal trainers on eating disorder screening, nutrition, and body image.

Juliana grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Virginia Tech. As a first generation Brazilian American, she is fluent in Portuguese and appreciates how different cultural backgrounds contribute to body and food issues.

While at Virginia Tech, Juliana gained a wide range of experience working with kids and young adults as a swim instructor, peer health educator and student nutrition counselor. Juliana is certified in The Body Project, a group body image and self-esteem program for young women developed by the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) and has led groups at the college level and for adolescents and young adults in our practice.

Juliana completed her master’s degree in nutrition at Boston University and a dietetic internship at Boston Medical Center. She has experience working with diverse patient populations and a wide range of health issues. She developed a passion for culinary medicine while working in BMC’s Teaching Kitchen.

Juliana has experience working with all types of eating disorders with a particular affinity for binge eating disorder. She is passionate about helping people of all ages and genders heal their relationship with food and their bodies. She particularly enjoys helping clients determine what foods they most enjoy and encouraging creativity in the kitchen.

Kara Lydon is the owner of Kara Lydon Nutrition, a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, and social justice-minded nutrition therapy group practice in Boston. Kara is a registered dietitian, certified intuitive eating counselor, yoga teacher, and specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. Kristine Berube, RD, LDN, RYT-200, Certified Reiki Master, is a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist at Van Dusen Nutrition®. Kristine currently works full-time in the Needham office and sees clients for Individual Nutrition Counseling, Therapeutic Meal Support®, and Therapeutic Movement SupportTM. Additionally, she is a clinician who staffs our STEP® eating disorders program.

Kristine’s mission is to help individuals build trust in their minds and bodies so as to heal toxic relationships with nutrition and exercise. Kristine focuses on a whole body approach and utilizes intuitive eating principles, mindfulness, and therapeutic movement to help develop trust within ones internal cues. She is passionate about helping others form healthy relationships with food and their bodies.

Kristine received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Framingham State University’s Coordinated Program of Dietetics. Her program included a diverse internship experience, which incorporated acute care medical nutrition therapy, community nutrition programming, and school nutrition management. Kristine then went on to provide outpatient nutrition therapy where she began implementing intuitive eating and mindfulness-based practices with her clients.

Kristine’s passions brought her to Boston, where she began studying yoga and Reiki. She then completed her 200-hour yoga registered teacher training (RYT) from Radiant Yoga Boston and Reiki Master certification with Libby Barrett in 2019. Kristine is currently undergoing training to obtain her 500 hr RYT certification with Chakra Power Yoga.

She has dedicated her career to counseling, supervising, and teaching in the field of eating disorders. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian and Supervisor and certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. She maintains a group practice where she supports and supervises two additional fantastic dietitians (Anita Dharwadkar and Christine Laker) whose passion is eating disorders treatment. In 2015 Marci launched an online training platform to help other clinicians learn the art and science of eating disorders treatment.

Hello! I’m Marissa, a self-proclaimed foodie and plant lover. I am someone who has always loved cooking, eating, and planting food! Truthfully, I am very fascinated by the unique relationship that we each have with food. My mantra is that food is meant to be enjoyed; it can represent culture, traditions, be the cornerstone of good memories, and it can taste amazing too!

My approach is grounded in Health at Every Size® (HAES), Intuitive Eating, weight-neutral, and non-diet nutrition. This means that I am passionate about cultivating a safe space to help you heal or strengthen your relationship with food and your body while also challenging diet culture norms. I believe that all bodies are good bodies that are worthy of unbiased, equal, and respectful care.
